The hat that started it all.
Can a hat make the world a nicer place? That cat’s hat sure did. Without Things One and Two a certain Dr. might never have occupied the place in our collective consciousnesses that he does and generations of children might have grown up not requesting that their ham and eggs be green or noting the lessons that star-bellied Sneetches have to teach us or listening to a Lorax that speaks for the trees. Sometimes he might speak for the trees in a voice that sounds an awful lot like Danny Devito, and how nice you consider that might relate to whether you grew up watching “Taxi” reruns or streaming “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” But we think the point here is that that a hat can make the world a nicer place. It might be the first thing people notice about your head. And that thing can say, “I speak for the trees,” or it might inform strangers that you are offering free mustache rides and/or trying to make someplace great again, but maybe it would be better if the main feature of that hat is that it lets people know that you are trying to make the world a nicer place and they can, too.
