Watch Coach William and the ladies arrive in style
Maybe you knew that the Ugandan chapter of the Super Nice Club has a ladies’ football club (soccer if you are this side of the Atlantic). Now we can’t take much credit for their victory this past week or the bigger victory that the team exists at all. That is all owing to the passion, drive and heart of SNC member William Butala, an artist, activist, therapist, and (now) coach whose program Nakivart hosts the team. Their jerseys do say Super Nice FC on them though, which is pretty neat. Thanks, William, for sharing this video with us (which he shot from the video trailing the team—see if you can catch a glimpse of his red Super Nice Club hat at one point).
William started the team to give the young women at the camp a healthy escape through the healing power of sport. We think they look pretty sharp arriving for their match. But no matter what happens on the pitch, this looks like a W to us.
Taking on a challenge is a lot like riding a horse, isn’t it? If you’re comfortable while you’re doing it, you’re probably doing it wrong.”

If you are interested in supporting the incredible work William is doing at the Nakivale Refugee Camp (or you just think the jerseys are pretty sweet) you can do so here (even $3 helps a lot).
